Emily Irene VanCamp was born in Canada. She's an actor who has appeared in multiple television series. She is also a star in the world of film. There is a huge fanbase in American and Canadian television. Emily's love for acting first began when, at age 12 she visited their sister Katie who was filming one of Katie's films. After discovering her enthusiasm for the acting world she enrolled herself in classes to learn about it and started auditioning. The first time she was cast, she appeared in commercials, but she was not cast until getting a part on the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You Are You Scared of Darkness? which featured her only in one scene, without any spoken dialogue. In the WB program Glory Days, she received her first big break at the age of 15. Emily's character caught Greg Berlanti's eye, even though the show ended in just nine short seasons. Greg Berlanti cast Emily as a regular in Everwood. Emily was a professional dancer, and was also a photographer. Teen listed her as one top actress under 20. Maxim placed her at number 51 on its Hot 100 of 2014.
