She is an extremely gifted American actress who is perhaps most well-known for her performances as Sara Tancredi in the Fox TV series Prison Break (co-star Wentworth Miller) and Lori Grimes in AMC's The Walking Dead. Maxim magazine ranked her one of the "Hottest Women" in the fall of 2008's TV. Callies relocated from New York in 2003 and was soon offered her first television role as Kate O'Malley, a recurring part on the short-lived CBS program Queens Supreme. The first time she appeared in the lead role was as the detective Jane Porter from The WB's Tarzan.
